Pauley Equipment Loves Navman Messaging

Second Generation Pauley Equipment Company On Its Five Navman Messaging Units: “Love ‘Em”

Founded by three brothers in 1983 in Escondido, the second generation Pauley Equipment Company has just completed 30 years in business now with three locations: Temecula and Vista have joined the flagship Escondido location.

Today the family owned business is under the guidance of the two second generation brothers, Jacob and Jason.

The company’s rental inventory features both new and used equipment for the homeowner and contractor. Pauley Equipment is the authorized, full line dealer for Kubota, New Holland, Mustang, and, many other construction equipment manufacturers, and keeps complete in-stock inventory at its Escondido and Temecula locations.

A little over two months ago, the company purchased five Navman units with navigation from Escondido-based A&D Technology Inc. for use on its vehicle fleet.

How are the units working out? In three little words: “I love 'em” says Jason Pauley. ”We use the units for messaging-- to look up the addresses for our customer deliveries. Frankly, it takes the tendency of the drivers not always answering their cell phones out of the equation.

“In addition, we have access to ‘real time’ when a customer calls and wants to know where their delivery is. We can answer promptly and accurately", practically pinpointing the ETA.

“As a matter of fact, on the second day we had the units, a customer was calling, impatient and with a little bit of an attitude because he thought the backhoe he ordered wasn’t here yet. “The customer was looking out the window. The truck had already been there and had made the delivery15 minutes before he called", Jason said.
